Couldn't she just put it on that desk thing behind her? I'm suprised she doesn't have a night stand. Where would she keep an alarm clock, or reading lamp, or similar items?

Oh, and when she said she has to "hold it," I thought that she needed to go to the bathroom, and that it was yet another embarrassing thought for Brian to overhear.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that last panel was when Becky made it look like Julia wet her pants earlier in the comic. Julia's little way of getting revenge, maybe? :P

right on the nose "Squirk" is exactly the right sound effect for a collapsing styrofoam cup of liquid--a blend of squeak, squirt, and spurt. Now the question is, will it actually happen? Or will something more awkward happen when someone tries to prevent it from happening?
