This is one of the first strips I thought of. With my 6-panel layout, I often like to include early "punchlines," and then deal with the aftermath in the last 2 panels. It makes it more awkward and real than a regular 4-panel humor strip.

Jazeki - I put all my flashbacks in black and white to distinguish them from imagination panels.

Hmm, I don't get the reference to Billy Joel, Isu. Maybe I'm just dumb.

Human I like how still, even though Brian's a mind reader, there's a convenient human element to the story. Or am I just reading in to this to much? Seeing as I suppose Brian could see that it is honestly something Jules is embarrassed about, he'd rather not make it even more mortifying for her. Or, you know, he just bumped the table on accident XD

I just want to say that I really enjoy this comic! I almost always love seeing paranormal stuff woven into everyday situations, but this one has so much more than just that. The characters seem real and more importantly oh so loveable, the paranormal isn't taken into overdrive (a quality I miss in most stories) and the story in combination with the art is absolutely beautiful.

Dreamify, that's the way I feel about most supernatural stories - the paranormal qualities get so involved that the actual characters get lost in it. I'm glad you feel that way about my comic. One of the reasons I made it is because I can't find enough stories like this. I think it's kind of like Pushing Daisies, one of my favorite shows - where the main character is the only "weird" one in an otherwise normal world.
